How to use your meters and dashboard

Short steps in plain words. Keep this page or print it.

1. Getting started

  1. Create your account on Sign up with your name, phone, email and a PIN of at least 8 numbers.
  2. Order one meter for each flat on Buy meters, and pay online.
  3. We deliver and install the meters, then add your property, flats and tenants for you.
  4. When your meters are installed, your full dashboard opens by itself.

2. Your home screen

  1. Send tokens turns red when a tenant has paid and is waiting for a token.
  2. My tenants shows every flat, who lives there and when they last paid.
  3. My money shows what tenants paid and what has reached your bank.
  4. Buy a meter is for a new flat.

3. Sending a token

  1. Tenants pay online from their phone. You then send them a token for the units they paid for.
  2. If a tenant is waiting, open Tokens to send and tap the flat.
  3. Press Get token, or type the 20-digit token from your vending account and press Save token.
  4. Press Text token to send it to the tenant by SMS.

Never share a token with the wrong flat. A token only works on the meter number it was made for.

4. Tenants

  1. Each flat has one tenant phone number. The tenant logs in with that number and their own PIN.
  2. When a new tenant moves in, open the flat and press New tenant moved in. Type the new phone number.
  3. The old number stops working at once. The new tenant gets an SMS with how to log in.

5. Your money

  1. Money from online payments goes straight to your bank account. We never hold it.
  2. See every payout on My money.
  3. To change your bank account, type the new details. We send a code to your phone to confirm it is you.

6. Caretakers

  1. A caretaker can send tokens for you. Add one on Caretakers with their phone number.
  2. They get an SMS with how to log in. Remove them any time.

7. Using the meter

  1. Each flat has its own prepaid meter. The meter number is printed on the front.
  2. To load a token: type the 20 digits on the meter keypad, then press Enter.
  3. The screen shows the new units. If it shows an error, check each digit and try again.
  4. When units are low, the meter warns the tenant. When they run out, the light goes off until a new token is loaded.

Do not open, move or rewire a meter. Call us if a meter is damaged or the screen is blank.
